These dogs have many superior qualities and are perfect for the first time dog owners.

Yorkshire Terriers are ideal pets and companions for young and old alike,always ready for a romp in the yard with the children or are just as content to sit by the fireside with the older folks.

With their fine silky coats, lack of doggy odor, and no shed policy, they are ideal for house dogs. A Yorkshire Terrier is very adapted to city dwelling and can adjust to any surrounding, no matter how large or small.

He is very clean, easily trained and requires a minimum of care. A few minutes daily grooming him keeps him in top condition. He loves affection and returns lots of devotion in return.

He does not need to be pampered and has lots of terrier fire, spirit and courage. He makes an excellent watchdog and does not bark excessively. He is very instinctive and attractive.
