Are your kids out of the house, or is your “mothers day” toned down? Well, according to Dogster.com you can still have fun on mothers day, as a “pet parent.”

Here are some ideas gleaned from other pet-moms,

1-If the weather is warm enough, take your dog for a walk, bring some doggie munchies, snacks, or even a meal, and have a pet picnic. Sit down with your dog and let him enjoy his outside meal with you at his side.

2-Make yourself feel good as a doggie parent, get a new, clean leash, one that suits your taste in design.

3-Allow your dog to be overly affectionate to you that day. They love it, and you know you do too!

4-Take your dog for a walk to a very special place. Either a park, or waterfront. Someplace that makes you feel great. Your dog will love it no matter where you take it for a walk.

What a wonderful way to make Mother’s Day last all year. Enjoy your dog, enjoy yourself. Enjoy each other!
