I have some tips so you can have a well behaved dog.

Yes, I am talking about your dog.  Unless, of course, your dog is a really good obedient dog.

Are you at times tormented, maybe a better word is frustrated, by bad behaviors like jumping, barking or stubborness.  Does your precious dog not listen to you?

I was driving to my local pet store and turned off a main street into a side street when around the corner comes one little dog…off leash, no owner in site, running towards one of the busiest streets in the area.

I quickly parked the car and tried to lure the dog to me.  At least he stopped running and stood staring at me.  I knew if I went towards him he would be gone, so, I just got on my knees, held a leaf in my hand and kept his attention on me.

The owner came from the opposite direction, empty harness in hand; his little monster had got loose.  Why do I call it a little monster you ask?  Because it got loose you ask?  Nope,

Because when the owner called the dog, it ran in the opposite direction.  When he finally got close enough to it,he growled and snarled at him.  By the time I left, he still couldn’t get the harness on his dog.

People…little dogs need training too. They are not funny or entertaining when they are obnoxious, discourteous or even aggressive.

Train your dogs, for your safety, for their safety, for the safety of the general population and… it will give you back your sanity and peace of mind!!!

The pronged collar serves the exact same purpose as the choke chain, but there are prongs inside the collar, which pinch the dog if he pulls to hard.  While most people with small animals don’t feel the need to use this, people with larger animals often find it a necessity.  Puppies get excited, they jump, lunge, try to run and do all sorts of things that can injure yourself or others.  This type of puppy training collar is very effective and often only takes a couple of tries before the dog learns what he is supposed to do.

Electronic collars are just 36 hour the same as the prong collar, and choke chain in purpose, but it uses a small electronic zap to convince your dog he is making the wrong choice.  They also have these collars with virtual fences.
