ps… I have no financial benefits from this review. It is strictly a review of a product that I am using!

My Black Lab Benny, now gone from us, used to inhale his food. I mean, almost literally. As soon as you gave him his food he would just inhale it. I could never believe how fast this guy ate!

Benny always had digestive problems. No matter what food I gave him, the cheapest to the most expensive, nothing would make a differenc. He always had very lose stools. One person suggested I put a ball in his bowl. Well that didn’t work. He was smart, just pick up the ball, and out of the bowl it goes.

I was always very concerned about my Benny. Nikki, my Golden, takes her time to eat, unless another dog is standing over her. I have a new Black Lab now, from the pound, her name is Shorty. Shorty has the same issue as Benny. She just about inhales her food too. And, she also has very loose stools.

The problem is, these stools are pretty nasty to pick up, especially when walking. And this cannot be good for her digestive system either.

Well, for all you people who have dogs that eat the same as mine, there is a remedy. And, it’s simple, it’s clean, it doesn’t bother the dogs!

You need to get the “DogPause – The Healthy Dog Bowl”. I have two, for my two dogs. And, they are awesome. They do the trick without causing and disruption in your dogs eating habits. The dog doesn’t even realize that his feeding is being controlled. But, it works! It does the trick.

There is even a video on the site that shows the two ways of eating for a dog. You just gotta check it out. It is such a simple solution to a real problem.

Both Nikki and Shorty are using them now.

Regards, Ruth, Nikki, and Shorty

I am the owner of 2 beautiful English Springer Spaniels, a brother and a sister who are separated, in age, by one litter.

I can relate when you mention that basically your dog would “inhale” his food in the blink of an eye.

But that was before I started making their food.

Both dogs were on canned food up until the “canned food scare”.

But way before that, I knew that something was not right as far as their eating habits. Fir st, neither of them was too thrilled about eating their breakfast and sometimes, I would end up throwing out a major portion of their meal. Secondly, their stools were constantly loose and it was a pain to be cleaning them up outside.

Well, I researched and started making them batches of “breakfast”. Basically a batch consists of a meat, eggs, brown rice, veggies and water. I make a fresh batch every couple of days and there is always variety in the ingredients. They get their “breakfast” with a 1/2 cup of dry. I also include a bit of super food supplement and a dose of Omega-3 supplement for the oils.

    How is it working out?

Firstly, the dogs are so excited to eat their breakfast each morning now, they are like kids in a candy store! So it is definitely worth it for me to take time and make them batches of food. Secondly, their stools are no longer runny but nicely formed. So my instinct was correct in that they did not like the canned food and it also bothered their digestion.
