Here is a great halter for your dog. A great way to go through summer because your dog is comfortable, and you are in control! It really is worth it for you to check out.

On The Day That He Came To Stay, by Linda Moon
Dedicated to Shep
He walked into the house
And took charge
On the day
That he came to stay
We thought we would have a girl
But he had other plans
When he went running to the car
And jumped in
Uninvited
On the day
That he came to stay
He walked into the house
And took the cat’s toys
Just to show “him” who was boss
On the day
That he came to stay
He walked into the house
And rearranged it
Things were not to “his” liking
On the day
That he came to stay
He walked into the house
And chose his own bed
Not where we said
On the day
That he came to stay
He walked into the house, “his house”
And stayed for the rest of his life
Taking care of his “people”
And his “cat”
And we still feel him near
On the day
That he couldn’t stay
He let us know
That he would still be here
As always
Since the very first day
That he came to stay

I am going to vent once again. I don’t know why so many small dog owners allow their little terrors to run off leash.
For some reason many small-dog owners think it is funny and cute when their little “terrorists” run loose and challenge other leashed dogs, or generally run circles around other leashed dogs barking their little heads off.
People, if you are guilty of this, it’s not funny and it’s not safe! And mostly, it’s not even fair. If your dog would be big, it would not be acceptable. There is no reason it is acceptable because your dog is little.
