Let me tell you about Molly, my dog’s friend. Molly is a 90 pound Golden Lab. She is about 4 years, very gentle natured. She is deeply in love with my blind Duke. Whenever she comes to visit, she will always be found close to Duke. Often she will do the “Molly-Dukie” Dance. She does an almost ritualistic dance around Duke’s head.
Molly on the other hand, is like a tank. I will doggie sit her overnight if her owners go away. It’s like having a live blond tank in the house. Even though Molly is gentle natured, she is not “gentle” in her movements.
And, she is sneaky. The other day, I had loaded my Golden in the Jeep, than I loaded Molly (I was on the way to bring her home), and then came Ben, my black lab. I was ready to go, looking both ways, and lo and behold I spotted Molly sitting in front of my neighbour’s front door!!!
Wow, I had no idea she had nudged the door open, and escaped. I was really worried because my neighbours are afraid of my dogs. And, had they come out, well, there would have been some shocked faces. Of course when I went to get her, she ran the opposite way. Molly’s owner said I should have just told her we are going to Timmy’s (Tim Horton’s) and she would have come right away. Go figure!
Anyway, here are a couple of “Molly Pics with my Golden, Nikki”

I was chastised once for offering this item, but, I believe it is one of the most valuable assets you can have while out walking your dogs.
I was walking once through the park with my Golden and another lady was walking her dog, a big strong dog that she could not handle.
