Goldendoodles are mongrels, mutts, produced for profit in often appalling conditions. Purchasers get dogs of uncertain background and temperament. Anyone who buys a goldendoodle is lining the pockets of the puppy mill operator and perpetuating the abuse of dogs in puppy mills. I have a shorter word for anyone who buys a “goldendoodle”.

If you want a dog, research a pure breed, and find an ethical breeder (who will quiz you as much as you the breeder). Get a dog with a guaranteed heritage and a medical guarantee that will suit your lifestyle. Do your research.

Then, exercise, train and socialize your dog. Don’t dump it in the backyard to go mad from isolation once it’s no longer a cute puppy. Spay or neuter, unless you’re into conformation showing.

    BE A RESPONSIBLE OWNER.

Actually, that is NOT true. There are tons and tons of purebred puppy mills. And t here are many more reputable ones.

There are many reputable GoldenDoodle dog breeders. Just take a true look around, research it!!

I am sure there are some puppy mills, as there are puppy mills for every breed.

Golden Doodles are amazing dogs that can be owned by those who have allergies to dog hair. That is one of the beauties… kids with allergies may now be able to own a dog.

Do the research, that is my advice,

I have a golden doodle. He is great with kids! I have a daycare and the dog is wonderful with all the kids. My dog does not shed hair so my house is not full of hair and I don’t have to check my clothes for dog hair before i leave the house.
